Re: Signatures
He had one song that was relatively mainstream in the 90s I guess, called "Liar". He also has a show called The Henry Rollins Show. You should do a YouTube search for "Henry Rollins letter to".. it's a segment from his show where he writes a letter to someone (like Laura Bush, David Beckham, Carrot Top). Although I do place a disclaimer that if foul language is not your thing, then you should probably stay FAR away from anything Rollins related.
He also does a TON of spoken word type things and is very active in gay rights campaigns. (He's straight, btw, ladies). Because he is SOOOOO outspoken about his belief in gay rights, however-- he has developed a rather large gay following. I, however, have been into him since I was a pre-teen in the early 90s.
He did an interview with a gay magazine and they asked him if it bothered him that people claim he is gay and just hiding it. He said something along the lines of "First of all, if I was fighting for gay rights and hiding my own gayness-- how counter productive would that be? And believe me, if I was gay, you'd know it. There'd be no closet for me because I would have burned it down years ago. I'd be out every night. Do you REALIZE how easy it'd be for me to pick hot men up?"
Like Lucid said, he has an ego--- I'd say it's bigger than Texas. LOL But he's so smart and witty and talented, I think it's a deserved Ego.
