I'll throw out a thanks.. Having that deleted was much appreciated and as far as I can tell Dude was seriously on top of things. I don't know how long it was there, but it was gone about as fast as I could see and choose to put the guy on ignore.

I will also here admit to being nosy.. I had assumed the spammer would be banned and looked for him in the member list the next morning just to see.. It was eye opening as I rarely go through the member list. He was gone.. but I got an eye full of some of the others that had signed up here associated with both pharmacies and porn (with links). I didn't realize we were such a target.

While it looks like most just sign up and then for whatever reason don't post, I am glad to know that if they do, someone is watching out for us and getting it off here as fast as they can. Thank You.

I'm with Dee Ann. After the "incident", I noticed how many spammers are truly registered here, and how many continue to register each day. Its kind of scary really. The members list is FULL of them. I never knew there were that many here!!

I am glad someone is keeping them at bay. I would hate to wake up one day and see every thread here covered wall to wall with disgusting smut. Thanks again Dude.

LOL.. I am not sure how much you really missed. The post in questions was... Um.. well, nothing I expected or wanted to see. Coming in right before it was pulled I can say on observation that no one had really posted in about an hour. Who knows what was being said in pm's, but.. no it wasn't exciting around here. I am thinking most reacted pretty much the same way I did. Kinda dumbfounded and not clear what to say or do (where did the report button go? I do remember looking for it and thinking somehow our petty nonsense here had sabotaged a tool that really was needed. Can we have it back if we promise not to abuse it?)

Dee Ann...in the top right corner of each post there is a little exclamation point bordered in red & white. That's the report button. I used it to report that crap the other night. Amazingly, I think its the first time I even knew it was there.
I had also emailed SOFA & PMd dude. Don't get me wrong. I am far from perfect, but this was NOT the place for that crap!!

Thanks for that bit of info.. I will remember that. Although I looked (obviously thinking it would be more obvious than that) I didn't have time to get a complaint off and couldn't decide who I should complain to (just putting him on ignore threw me off.. did it, then the whole thread was gone. Had to undo it to realize that it had been pulled, and confirm that I wasn't ignoring a whole thread because of one poster, which was not what I wanted at all.. LOL, I don't play with these tools near enough. This whole thing just really threw me off)
