I don't want to sound like a major witch or anything but I have to say I am extremely disappointed with the direction that the Days page has went since Dustin's departure from the site. His weekly spoilers had much more to them and also made it possible for a person like myself who works quite frequently during the time Days is on catch up on what was going on. I do not know if he had better connections for the updates or if the current writers are just overwhelmed with other sites to keep up with this one but I must say I do not frequent the page as often as I used to because of the dramatic changes. I really hope things can go back to the level of information that Dustin provided because I feel that many other readers of the site may feel the same as I do.

I agree with you nina. It has gone south since Dustin's departure.

dustin had a good board, I've gotten used to this now and I think SOFA is trying hard to keep this a pleasant place. Give it a chance, we were just used to Dustin for so many years. I did like his summations much better than this Matthew so I just skip over him and read the spoilers, there are so many of them anymore, hard not to know what's going on and what's going to happen. that is unless they throw in a quickie rewrite all of a sudden and then we all say wth.

Dustin's page was much more fun, IMO. This site has consistently gone downhill, but it's free so I've put up with it thus far. Yes, SOFA has lots of irons in the fire and can't keep up with this nearly as well, but there is only one Dustin, who spoiled us for any other.

I love SOFA as an admin. I think she is fair and laid back and friendly. As far as the main Days page goes, I agree with you Nina. It isnt the same and I miss the old page.

I've always wondered if sheKnows hold back because of their "sources." Other sites just put it out there as soon as they find out something...soaps.com and nuSOF not so much. I'm not saying it's right or wrong, it's just a choice. Me, I'm a spoiler addict and I want to know NOW, so I go elsewhere for spoilers and rumors.

As far as the commentary is concerned, Dustin was a huge fan of Days and his commentary was heartfelt. Even if we didn't agree with him we respected his opinion. It's much easier to dismiss someone that does it because it's a job.

On the other hand, I do think SOFA is a much better moderator than Dustin ever was, mainly because she isn't a Days fan. She is not vested in any of the characters and can see past all the BS.

I like this board.. I however do miss Dustin's summary's. If I missed an episode I knew I could read what he put up and I would ba totally in the know. Now I don't even bother..

I am so glad that I am not alone on this and that others share my opinion! I was afraid people would be freaking out on me like has happened when I expressed my opinion on other boards in the past.

My main disappointment comes from the lack of spoilers and when Dustin did the page he would have them up by Sunday and also now the it's like they copy and past from next week spoilers to this week spoilers as the new week begins. I used to enjoy reading Dustin's long summarys of up coming events but now we are lucky to get 4 lines! Also the four lines are just basically a summary of what they show as at the end of Friday's episode.

A friend of mine used to frequent the page and kind of drifted away for a bit and then when she came back she called me and said "What happened to Dustin's Days Page!" I am not going to give up on the page yet nor is she now that she is back to visiting but we do hope they are able to make it better.
