I liked the blue on the old board, but this new blue is too grayish. I'd switch from pink if there was a brighter blue.

My board color stays too.

I keep accidentally clicking the "home" button instead of the "forums" button up top and ending up on some new page. Were both of those links there before?

I like being able to change the colors and definitely like having more smiley choices, but I'm not very fond of the banner ads and pop-ups.

I also noticed at the bottom right of the screen there is a drop down menu to change the skin color so that you don't have to go all the way into the control panel and find the right option

That's where my problem was coming from, Kate.
If you change the colour option from the bottom left, it doesn't save. If you change it in the User CP, it saves. So the former is only a temporary change and you will lose it when you logout.
