You guessed it, Haven! It's an Ejami thing. In fact, they are called "Ejamiphants". There's a whole separate website about them, if you can believe that! From what I understand, PrettyinPink created them as a symbol for "the cause", and she may have been inspired by someone's avitar/signature that had an elephant jumping on a trampoline. (I can see it - but I can't think of who it belongs to!) The elephant seemed to never give up, and PIP thought that was just like the Ejamis. (True) So, the elephant started as a symbol that the Ejamis would never give up until Sami and EJ were together, and they spread like wildfire. People (computer savvy people) began to change their colors and add other personal touches. Those of us who are not so tech savvy are free to copy and use them as we wish. If you think they are annoying, you need to stay away from the Ejami section of the board, because it looks like an elephant stampede! THe little critters don't bother me too much. I like Ejami, but I haven't declared an allegiance.
