Bruce told Laurie she was grounded, and she said she was almost an adult, so she's probably been 17 for awhile. She looked nervous though when she found out that the teacher (can't remember his name) might be working full time at the school next year, so I'm guessing she'll still be in high school next year too. I definitely think she's going to sneak around. Bruce didn't get a chance to say much to the teacher, besides asking how old he was. He didn't answer, but just hurried, put his shirt on and left. He did forbid Laurie from seeing the teacher though.

Janet was really upset with Trina, Roger and Susan, and told Trina to shove the prize piece up her.... lol.

LOL at Janet! I cant believe Roger kissed her! I cant believe that Roger wasnt wanting to swing--I thought he was going to jump at the chance to get it on with Susan. Im so shocked at Tom!!!!!!! Janet is sucha stick in the mud...I s'pose thats why he kissed her then. You're right about Laurie--she must have another year left of high school or she wouldnt care about his job. did he take it then?

Janet was whining to Tom that none of his friends would want to swing w/her anyway, so he kissed her. Yea, Janet is wound so tight, I have a feeling she's going to break loose and talk Roger into swinging or cheat on him.

I thought Roger would want to swing to get with Susan too, and he probably does, but isn't sure what Janet will think.

CarolJean stopped by early on, but I guess we are the only ones who want to talk about it lol. It's like we're on our own little island where no one else has even heard of swingtown.

I thought the show was GREAT tonight! I wish I couldve seen the other ones, but oh well. So Doug is 24....I wish she was 18 but I guess its not really THAT bad, and the scene witht he 4 of them was pretty great. I feel for Susan and Roger. I wonder what will happen when she kisses him? Lori seemed to scense that she is unhappy. I wonder.....

Hey, I just stumbled upon this thread. So often I forget to branch out to the other threads and end up just staying on the Days threads only. I just wanted to let you know that I am a fan of Swingtown as well. I love the music and seeing the styles back than. - Too Funny - I was in my late teens during the late 70's and early 80's - Can't say I knew any swingers though - LOL! Maybe I just was unaware of what those adults around me were really up to - LOL!

Anyway, I love the show and I hope it gets picked up. Looking forward to tonight's show. Fortunately for me I had my DVR set to tape the show so when it made the switch from Thursdays to Friday nights it just showed up on my DVR on Friday and I did not miss any of the shows. Curious to see what happens between Susan and Roger, I know it is so wrong but I am sorta hoping something will happen between them. - Janet will have a fit for sure.

Hi Penny. Welcome to the thread. I wasn't around for the 70s, but love seeing the clothes and music too. It's interesting to see how many of the things Laurie wears are still in style today.

I know what you mean about Susan and Roger. They seem to have a real connection, and I feel bad for Janet, but I want to see what happens there too. I'd like to know the story behind their marriage, and how they ended up together.

Hey Six! Hey Penny--keep posting with us! Sorry Ive been MIA for a while now. Things here have been a little crappy but I think that they are looking up now.

I thought when Susan said that line about them loving each other that Bruce would pull over! My jaw dropped! hahahahahahahaha!! I am really liking Julie and Doug more and more now after Fridays show. He is a good guy! Roger and Susan look so good together. I wonder what is going to happen there...Im mad that Bruce is having an affair. It just annoyed me when I saw the preveiw. I dont mind Susan and Roger but I dont like Bruce and whomever--funny huh?
