Alex is dead, but what she said to Ben is that she knew he was already plotting to kill John again. And, that if he didn't follow Locke and do what he tells Ben to do, that she will come and kill Ben! Or make him sorry in some way. It was eerie seeing her talk to her Dad like that. He admitted it was his fault she was dead and he told her he was sorry. So, he did get some closure there. When he opened his eyes, she was gone and he told John who was looking down into the hole that the Smoke Monster let him live.

The Alex that appeared to Ben was a manifestation of the monster...... and I am beginning to think that the "Locke" that we saw in this episode was the monster as well.

Were Jack's father and Claire (in the shack) also manifestations of the monster? Kind of what I was thinking, but wasn't sure.

Drew I have no idea what you just wrote.....LOL!!! I was not to thrilled with the past eppy it kind of dragged for me, I think the banter between Hurley and Miles is funny but finding his dad and everything was like okay lets get on with it.....

Bram is the guy in the van that tried to stop Miles from joining Widmores group on the freighter. Ilana is the "bounty hunter" that captured Sayid

Both ended up on the second flight and are now heavily armed and lets not forget that huge crate.

They have prior knowledge of the island and the statue and of Miles at least. They are not working for Ben or Widmore so the only choice I can see is the Dharma Initiative.

I missed it again and forgot to set my dvr!!!! Need to find an online site so I can catch up, I'm even more confused now LOL!
