I didn't even know there was a Ugly Betty "telanovela".

I thought it was just part of the show.

Lordy I finally found this again....I heard about Henry's new gig too...wish they wouldnt have let Gio go too....dumb. I didnt know there was a spanish version either??? Any reason that subtitles isnt good enough??? Just wondering...I would hate to see her and Daniel even mess around. I hope that her sister finds some love this season..or at least some fun. I cried in the opening when she had been shut up in her room.

The show was actually started out as a Spanish version. I actually don't think the American version is following the version the Spanish originally did. I could be wrong though.

The Spanish version was done in Mexico. Our Ugly Betty was brought to the US market by Selma Hayek - she is one of the producers. And no, not the same actors.

I'm so mad about Gio not being around next season. I will always be a huge Bio fan will never ship anyone else. She belongs with Gio.

I'm pretty sure Mexican Daniel and Betty hook up did kill that show. I read it somewhere. Not that I know Spanish.

I'm still a die hard Henry/Betty Shipper. I figured Betty was alone at the end of the season finale. Anyone know when Season 2 starts?
