Did anyone else catch this show last night? I was a huge fan of the original so I wasn't sure what to expect, but it completely lived up to and even exceeded my expectations. So what did you think?

Sorry, the commercials looked terriable & creepy. Not my cup of tea.
My husband watched & said he would not watch again.

I am jumping in here ... I remember watching V 20+ years ago .... is this the same one with the 'lizards'?

Yep. It's been updated for a new generation and the characters are different, but the basic story is the same.

OMG ! LOL its not out here where I live yet (Northern Ireland) .... as far as I know.

it's on ABC here in the States. I watched it because I watched the original series back in the day. the new one is more sinister and a bit more difficult to follow. it's like Battlestar Galactica, old shows versus new shows. the old shows were a bit more cheesy while the new one's were intense and serious.

I think V will be a good show once it takes off. it just needs a little more time to build up it's plot lines, etc.
