My take on that scene is that that is all they have (just like DANLOE) animal lust. Mind you, I am no prude - but I was almost sure we were going to see Rafe's unit - magical or no... it was too much. Even for me...

Honestly, I think TPTB thinks sex sells so in order to keep the show on the air we have to have one or two completely unmotivated, untitillating, unanticipated and unnecessary sex scenes a month.

Alright I'm probably in the minority here but I didn't think that this week's love scene was nearly as bad as the rest of the Safe love scenes. It was still no EJami in the Dimera mansion though

Haven, you hit the NAIL on the HEAD in describing Rafe's attitude....SMUG! He always has that look on his face. I just thought it was expressionless but SMUG fits it to a tee!

Anyway, the only scenes I ever find Rafe even slightly tolerable is with Ari. Idk what idiot decided to make the only woman he has any kind of chemistry with his sister!! She would be a good romantic interest for him... if he just has to be on the show.

I've been ff'ing so much I haven't had much to write about FOR MONTHS here. I agree with the smug looks Rafe throws around too. Usually I don't watch him, just ff, but after yesterday I decided to slow down a bit and try to get a handle on some of the SLs.
