I was thinking as I was reading some spoilers (don't worry I'm not divulging any secrets here!) about the friendship between Chloe and Nicole. I may have missed something along the way, but how and why did they become BFF? Didn't Nicole try to ruin Chloe's relationship with Brady and try to ruin her recovery a few years ago so she wouldn't marry him? I know this is soapland and all, but wouldn't you think Chloe would still not trust Nicole after all of that?

And about Chloe, I was going through some old videos on Youtube of the teen adventures circa 2000, and Chloe has changed a lot! I kind of like her better as the emo-before-it-was-cool "ghoul girl" than who she is now, bouncing around from man to man with no real thoughts except "I love Lucas! no wait I love Daniel! I want a baby!" I guess those are real thoughts and everyone changes from being a teenager to an adult.

Anyway those are just my thoughts!

Chloe should despise Nicole after Nic posed as a nurse yrs. ago and put a flesh-eating bacteria on her face (Can't get soapier than that!), yet Chloe just shrugged it off now. Days kind of made a joke of it, like when Rolf returned from the dead, and he said, "It (death) didn't take."

Yeah, Chloe was good as the Ghoul Girl, and then she became quite self-assured when she "bloomed." Even though I still like her o.k - and think she and Philip are hot together, not Danny Boy - she is acting ditzy. The writers are having trouble getting her character (and some others) a good definition.

It makes no sense - and the whole Sami/Nicole BFF thing is bugging me too!

I could never understand Nicole's and Chloe's friendship either. After everything Nicole did to her it's amazing that she would even be talking to her. I can understand wanting to put the past behind you and moving on but to actually become good friends is just so not real life.

I can accept that Sami doesn't hate Nicole anymore. But when I hear her say Nicole's her best friend and she will do anything for her, it's so unreal. I'm surprised Salemites don't get whiplash how fast their emotions change.

They're just having Nicole gain all these friendships so that when she falls, she will fall hard. They need all these friendships, so that when the lies come out, a lot of people will be ticked off at her.

Both friendships are pretty absurd though. If Nicole is Sami's best friend, she really needs to get out more.

What annoys me is that if Nicole was just who she said she was, she'd have all these friends & a perfect life.

All she had to do was tell the truth from the beginning, then she & E.J could adopt & she'd have her perfect life.
