The perfect job for Sami
A few weeks ago, Sami was looking for a job. After watching the past few weeks, the way she handles Mia and Will and Chad (before Maggie blabbed!) maybe Sami should try to get a job as a teen counselor. I know that's a lot like what Marlena did. She shouldn't be a shrink per se, but I think she would really make a great youth counselor! Someone who would give kids some perspective when life gets rough after all of what she's been through! She seems good at it, and it would be a way for her to "give back" and support her children, WITHOUT the help of a man.
Who else would like to see some strong single women in Salem? That's probably never going to happen since it's a soap and all lol

Re: The perfect job for Sami
I agree. I think Sami would be good with that. Of course, she would have to go through some schooling and training. It seems lately we don't have many good independent women role models.

Re: The perfect job for Sami
It would be a good job for her, and she would need to take some classes, but in soapland, she could get a bachelor's and a master's in about 2 weeks!

Welcome to the board! Great thoughts. I would like to see Sami independent and not attached to some guy until she is really ready for it....certainly not a fan of SAFE~~

I love that idea!! I hope the writers decide to go that way down the line, I think it would be really interesting for her character.

Re: The perfect job for Sami
The only problem with this plan is that, there would have to be more teen scene stories. Will, Mia, Chad and gang could fade into the woodwork as far as I am concerned.

Re: The perfect job for Sami
I would hope they give Sami a great deal of training before unleashing her as a counselor to teens. She would have to use her life experiences as a "what you should never do" example. LOL.
