So, I thought of something. When Kate and Chloe were at the "new house" (I love the porch) Chloe had the apple in her hand, said "oh I forgot to pick up Allie, I'LL DRIVE!!!!" Then she walks into the Pub with the apple in her hand. I bet you if they had a shot of her in the car, shje would have been holding it too!

I just hate how obvious they make these things!

Exactly (someone else getting the apple). Maybe that's why Kate was babysitting the apple. I can't believe how stupid Chloe is to not realize something's funny about that apple. I can't count the number of times I see a mom "sharing" her food with her children. What if she had decided to split the apple in half so Alli could have some too? It's weird Chloe doesn't sense Kate's apple behavior.

I wrote on some other thread about the wicked witch and Snow White, too. It certainly seemed that was Days' intent, which they probably thought was hilarious. But I agree with you guys. Lame as it gets. Clueless Chloe, Evil Kate, in-your-face "suspense." I was thinking Chloe would save the apple, go home, and surprise Lucas by attempting to make a fruit salad for him.

It's kind of frustrating that everyone seems to be so trusting of Kate, even after all the stuff she's done to her kids and others. And yet for some Salemites, Sami can't do ANYTHING right even when she is doing nothing wrong. Selective memory I guess...maybe there is something in the water there.

Another little annoyance these past few episodes with Kate is all her tinkly jewelry...any time she moves it's so loud!

I know this storyline is stupid. My husband was watching with me and we both laughed out loud when she was about to take a bite and then along comes Daniel. It's like how many times did she have her mouth hanging open yesterday ready to take a bite! And how over done is it each time Daniel and Chloe bump into each other. I know we're supposed to see the longing between them but it's so over stated it's ridiculous. I would think you'd try to avert your eyes or act super casual around someone you were trying not to be attracted to. Sheesh.
