Its just my opinion but I'm thinking they want to get rid of all the vets but want to have a reason for getting rid of them.

For the vets people love like Stayla & Jarlena they make them so boring & write so little for them that it won't matter if they are gone.

I think they are making Kate so crazy & making her sl so lame, so that people won't miss her when she's gone at all & there would be no backlash for getting rid of 1 of the last vets. Just my theory though lol.

Since I read this thread I've been watching the Chloe/Daniel/Kate/Lucas apple drama & its truly mind numbing. Could she make it anymore obvious that she did something to them. She walked right up as soon as Chloe looked at the apples. There are so many problems with this storyline...

A. Why in the blue heck would Kate rather MURDER Chloe by slowly poisoning her than tell Lucas about the affair?! I think Lucas would rather know about her & Daniel than have his Mother kill her with a basket of poison apples.

B. Does she think that Chloe is going to eat a whole dang basket of apples without sharing any of them with anybody else?? How many times has she already offered people a bite of the very 1st apple she had & she has a whole basket full left.

C. Kate is showing no interest in Allie while she's playing with her friend at a distance but is awfully concerned with Chloe's low blood sugar equaling irritability bc she hasn't eaten anything in a while. That doesn't seem odd to Chloe at all I guess.

D. I was so freaking tired of hearing apple... eat the apple... what a wonderful basket of apples... you could use a snack how about a apple!! Okay, okay we get it you want her to eat an apple. It would be less obvious if you just took the syringe & jabbed in the forehead with it.

E. Does Kate seriously have nothing else to do besides stalk her son's wife & make sure she eats a ton of apples. She seems to have no life of her own at this point.

They even show a flashback of her poisoning the apples as though we could've possibly forgotten she poisoned them w/ all the weird apple talk going on, even if you missed her poisoning them you could make a logical deduction about whats going on... the same kind of logical deduction Chloe should've already made by now lol.

I thought Kate only poisoned that one apple not the whole basket but than again I could be wrong since I seem to zone in and out of this ridiculous sl.

I only saw her poison 1 but I thought somebody mentioned her poisoning them all & Chloe drew 1 at random so if she only poisoned 1 it would be kind of odd if Chloe just randomly drew the right 1... of course whats odd for DOOL?? lol.

Kate only poisoned 1 apple. Now she'll switch to some other edible and encourage Chloe to chow down.

Haven, the reason Kate doesn't just tell Lucas is that she's afraid Baby Boy will freak out again and get all boozy. So she is tampering with the recordings and making it appear that Daniel murdered Chloe.

annie - Yes, he'll be devastated no matter what, and Kate is way beyond the pale to concoct this stupid plot. And she is, like others have stated, completely obvious. Anyone other than brain-dead Salemites could see her odd behavior immediately and question her every move. Haven could be right, that tptb are making each vet more unlikable or invisible or unredeemable so that they can be 86'd like the rest.

This SL is extremely far fetched and stupid. Plus I still cannot buy into the Lucas/Chloe/Daniel triangle. It all seems so forced. No chemistry anywhere. Even the actors seem like they are forcing it. I am not saying that they are bad actors, but they can only be as good as the stupid material that is written for them.
