I thought I remembered Marlena and roman talking to Sami about loving someone and that if you did, you should let them know and Marlena said like EJ. think that is how it went down and she does loves The Dark Lord our darling EJ. Gosh who wouldn't. Now if he were with Sami he would be treating her all lovey dovey like he does Nicole. Guess he questions Nicole and her activities cause she acts so suspicious. Wouldn't want him to lose smarts, balls and the whole kiboodle now would you.

IMO Whatever feelings are between Sami and EJ or Sami and Rafe always take a second seat to Sami's need to control the situation.
While she might be scared of Stefano, I don't think she is scared of EJ or she would be there in a shot attempting to desperately wrest Johnny away from the evil Dimeras.
Or, that's what a normal parent would do.
By keeping Grace a secret, she is not saving her from danger (because Johnny is in no danger at all right now) so much as keeping an ace up her sleeve against EJ.
A typical Sami move. When has she EVER put her children's needs above her own? Remember the parental custody hell poor Will lived with for years? Remember her taking Belle?
I'm not saying she isn't a good mother, what I'm saying is that her selfish nature trumps her maternal instincts sometimes and this is one of those times.

I think Rafe is a reminder to her of what she really wants: someone who wants her for her. I think she is projecting to him because EJ is unavailable to her. And I don't think she is keeping the baby away from EJ as her trump card because I think showing EJ Grace WOULD be her trump card to get him back. As always, I love the ideas here because they always keep me thinking.

I don't know boob. Rafe is a god guy and all that, but to my recollection Sami doesn't really go for the good guys but she has ALWAYS gone after the "UNAVAILABLE" guy. Starting with Austin.
She likes them married to others and dangerous.
Showing EJ Grace now would just make him torn between his two daughters. I think he will just be P.O.ed at Sami for the secrecy.
It isn't until EJ knows what Nicole did and even then not until the baby switch is sorted that he will even think of dealing with his feelings for the mothers. JMO
Putting myself in his shoes, I wouldn't want to trust with either of them for a very long time.

I mean to say that I think she sees in Rafe what She sees in EJ; someone who accepts her. I think like EJ she will try to put aside her real feelings and TRY to invent feelings for someone else only to find out that anyone but EJ will leave her hollow. Also I agree that Sami will not use her baby as leverage, that was my point. Obviously at any time, her baby could have been used to get EJ's attention, yet she has never done so.
