I think he felt guilty because of Nicole's reaction to the loss and that's why he helped her find a replacement (at first, until she turned into such a huge pain in the hiney for him)

Another twist - I think Baker knew it was a DiMera baby and possibly contacted Stephano. I think Stephano knows where the baby is (or worse, even has the baby stashed somewhere). That could be how he knew all along Nicole wasn't still pregnant and also how he found out about the baby switch. I think he sanctioned it in order to keep control of both DiMera babies and Baker was in his pocket all along. Could be wrong, but I can't wait to find out.

Which is why he so eagerly murdered Baker. Not for Nicole...but for himself...so he couldn't spill the beans ever...

I had actually thought about Bo and Carly possibly having a child. I recall seeing somewhere on this site I believe, a one-liner in spoilers stating Mia was somehow connected to Carly. And I also remember an ominous statement Stephano made the other day to Nicole about Mia, something to the effect that lying is "in her genes".

So those are my 2 main theories about the new character. Either 1) the Ejole baby, or 2) Mia is actually the long lost child of Bo and Carly.

Either option would be a good story line I think, although if I had to pick between the 2 I would prefer the Ejole baby story over the Carly/Bo/Mia one. Perhaps we'll get lucky and they will do both?

I just truly hope that Mia is not Carly and Bo's - in order for her to be their long lost daughter she would have to be a lot older. Carly was before Billie, therefore Mia should be much older than Chelsea. I know we are not suppose to think about timelines but this one for me would be hard to forget. I do not care if she is somehow an Alamain that might be interesting but I truly do not want her to be Bo's daughter.
