You know I think maybe trying a Lucas and Arianna pairing might be a good idea. I think the actors together would make a cute couple and Lucas will need someone while he waits for Sami (ok don't throw those tomatoes-LOL) - seriously it may be interesting to see Sami's reaction. She and Ari are not really friends. They have locked horns more than once and I would not think she would want to deal with Ari dating her ex, no matter how much she may be over Lucas and think of herself as just friends with him I still think it would bother her a bit to have Ari date him. Plus she may have had a drug problem, Lucas has his own demons, could be interesting......

IA with Penny that Lucas and Arianna might be workable. I'd have to see their chemistry, though. And it's fascinating how many posters dislike LH. When she first had any real scenes, I wasn't sure about her, but she isn't all that bad, IMO. I never watched Passions and have no preconceived notions. But her drug past and Lucas's drinking problems would keep them from judging each other, and perhaps they could help each other.

I never watched Passions, and I don't mind LH either. I haven't been wowed by her though.

I think that some posters (not all) simply dislike her b/c of Arianna's connection to Rafe & Rafe's connection to Sami. Plus Arianna is being discussed as a possible match for EJ.

Lurker Girl thanks for seeing my point we have tried so many pairing I truly would not mind seeing how Ari and Lucas are together. Could be interesting, I am keeping an open mind because we all no on this show anything is possible, that's for sure - LOL!

never cared for LH on Passions, main reason I stopped watching it.Galen not bad looking but thick and dull both as Luis and Rafe. his acting for me is monotonous, he has one tone, and he looks as lively in a coma as in a bedroom scene. we lost a lot of good people to make room for these people. not fair to our vets and the fans who faithfully tuned in to see them. Sami needed a female friend like Hilda more than another bed partner, even if I do not like the character of Lucas he has now been replaced by Rafe, Lindsay drives me nuts, always has, I find her personally annoying and irritating but that is just mho, cant stomach watching her with any man.

Penny, you make an interesting point. they HAVE tried so many people with Lucas, so why NOT Ari? I don't like her, but who's to say that, together, they wouldn't make a great couple? they both certainly would understand addiction and the pitfalls involved. they would understand how hard it is to stay clean and sober and how easy it is to fall back. they could be very interesting to watch, actually, if written well. and the angst with Sami involved could create some drama worth seeing. but build them slowly. let them "find" each other. they could go to school and become psychologists who work together to help those with addictions. in Salem that would only take what, maybe 3 weeks tops? lol! but seriously, if the chemistry is there, why not?
