this board is a piece of cake compared to others. Nothing wrong with the site or the admin. Dustin was more hands on because he loved the show and we related to him on that level however tho fair he tried to be - he was luminized. SOFA tries and is fair so that is a good thing. As for threads becoming Lucas or EJ bashing it's up to the posters to post whatever they wish, they have that right, anyone has the right not to read it or agree with it and everyone has the right to ignore what they dont like. the st/lines are flat right now and its sad, like watching an old friend die bit by bit. Sometimes i want to turn it off but I feel like I am abandoning an old friend and that's not my style. Many posters have so many other things to do and other boards to visit that we can't all post like we used to, not much really to say right now. Everyone has their own share of stuff to deal with and sometimes a soap opera board is not top of the priority list. hopefully things will pick up.

Stephanie - you might start your own thread with what you would like to discuss and maybe the more unbiased posters would join you there. good luck.

I try to watch everyday, annie, but I sometimes find myself getting up and doing something else when the show isn't holding my attention. It never used to be like that, I used to treasure that hour and make sure that NOTHING interupted me. They need to put more effort into the show. They have many talented actors, I say the use them wisely and viewers will come back.

I voted the site. And yes, Dustin was more hands on and I do miss that. But I find this site has become very negative. Yes, I agree that the show has its bad parts (IE the annoyingness that is Melanie. Great actress though. I wish we could keep a less annoying version of her) but generally, I am enjoying the show. Not to speak ill of the dearly departed, but when JER head wrote, I could watch a whole episode in 10 minutes. Hell, you really could watch just Friday's episode and not miss anything! Now I find the show is moving at a good pace, the acting is still fab and I am interested in more s/l than I was even a year ago. Basically, I have become the optimist. I see the good in the show. I read that people on here are unhappy with the Nicole in EJami thing. But I look at it as Sami loves EJ. After all this time she admits that she loves him! And when has Sami ever just given up on a man she loves? Never! Lucas is turning into the voice of reason. Some of my favourite Passions hunks are coming. Chelsea is starting to see that Nick is a great guy and that she's an idiot. (Finally!) Kate has stopped being a pain in the arse mother. Now we get to see her kids pay it back! I could go on, but I won't. (Only so much optimism in one post, yes )

I know the general consensus is that the show is awful, but I wish we could focus on what is good. I think we all might just enjoy the show we have right now. And it's better than NO DAYS right? Just my two cents. Have a nice day all!

I'm watching .. I'm not liking a lot of it . But I am still watching. And NOT FF through any of it. Am I a masochist? Maybe but I have always watched all of it so I will continue to watch all of it. If you FF you might miss the good parts..

There have been some comments about how the control of the admin is killing this site. It is the fan fighting that killed this site and drove a lot of the posters away.

I have not found a single open board the doesn't fight worse than we do. So Do Tell where is this island?

I post here, and at a board that's pretty hostile to any fan bases and especially the ejamicus fanbases and there's been a decline at both places. There are a lot of people who aren't happy with the character assassinations, dropped story lines etc.
