I just remembered the very same thing happened to Hope. She found out Belle slept with Philip while engaged to Sean. Hope was furious, confronted Belle and basically was harsh to her whenever they spoke. That was the most she did.

Now Kate can't use that excuse to justify what she did. I hope the writers don't forget and that Hope can throw that back in Kate's face when she arrests her. (At least I hope she gets arrested)

I'm afraid that Victor will help Kate to somehow get out of this. Don't know how, though. I had earlier been toying with the idea that the cops would think Lucas did it and arrest him, and that would send Kate into such a state of shock that she'd have to confess. But after today's show, it looks like Hope is convinced Lucas was clueless. (Did anyone hear Bo say that Lucas has been clueless for some time now? LOL)
