thats because you have 4 feet of snow on the ground your flowers won't be up until May.....I bet with this warmth we are having my bulbs are sprouting and the next cold snap we have it'll kill them all.....I can never win with this time of year.....

We did have a couple feet of snow, but the warm spell melted most of it and turned the rest to ice. We have lovely ice patches throughout our yard and driveway. I do love it when everything turns green all of a sudden in May, but right now I'd settle for warm sunshine and blue sky. It was cloudy all day, and it's spitting snow right now.

I hope the weather is better on Friday, because my sister is going to help me practice my driving.

I loved the snow and getting to play in it and ski a few times, but now I'm ready for Spring! It's another beautiful sunny day today, highs in the low 60's. I wish it were slightly warmer but I will take it for February!

With any luck, the only ice I'll drive on will be in my driveway. The roads are fairly clear, or at leas the highways are. I don't plan on doing much back road driving. I'd probably get lost.

I love the snow, and we've gotten to ski a few times within the past month and had a great time. This last week we had beautiful weather, in the high 60's, and now I'm ready for Spring. So get this, there is an 80% chance of snow tonight and tomorrow, NOOOOOOO!

The driving went well. I didn't get lost, and the only trouble I had was in judging when to brake, and maintaining speed while changing lanes. Oh, and going the wrong way in the Walmart parking lot. I hope to do much better next time.

This new version of Firefox is buggy. It refused to open my hotmail inbox, and it wouldn't open my favorites folders. It opened everything in the folder I clicked on, each in it's own window, and each in it's own tab. This buggy browser may also be responsible for yesterday's sudden disappearance of my Firefox profile information(including all my links, grrrrr). So, with every link opening up new windows and tabs, I thought about restarting the computer. Then all of a sudden it started working properly again. Weird and frustrating.

I found out today that participation in the adult religious ed. classes is dwindling. That's not good. I want the classes to be back next year, when I can attend them again. What I really need is a hardcore Bible study group, that goes way more in depth than these classes ever will. The beginner material is great for those needing an introduction to the basics of the Bible, and it's nice to have a refresher course, but I'm looking for something more. I do miss the discussions though, and interacting with grown ups.

Hops great job and don't fret about going the wrong way in walmart everyone does it......I have a RE class this Sunday while Bella is in class, it is prep for Holy Communion I can't believe it is getting so close....May 2.....

Hops, I signed up tonight to take a class during Lent on Wed. mornings, beginning the 25th. It's a Lenten study for adults, called Living With The Mind Of Christ, by James A. Harnish. The goal is to discover what it might look like for us, in very practical ways, to live with the mind of Christ. I teach childrens choir and drama on Wednesday nights, so I'm excited to do this, I haven't taken an adult class in two years now!!!!

Wrangler, that sounds like fun. I really like adult classes. They remind me of college. I attended a satellite campus, so we were always small groups. I really miss the discussions, but not the term papers and quizzes.

We're teaching the first graders to pray the Rosary. We'll be praying a decade a week during Lent. Once they memorize the prayers, it's only a matter of following along with the beads. We're only using three of the prayers, so it should go alright.
